Our rich history in this market means we have a strong, long-term relationship with manufacturers Herz, and are now developing a flourishing relationship with industrial/large-scale heating manufacturers Kohlbach.

Herz provide heating solutions from 10kW to 1MW in size. These are established, well-known boilers with a wonderful reputation here in the UK. Rural Energy are Britain's sole distributor for these systems and have a consistent relationship with the Austrian manufacturers.

Kohlbach biomass boilers are the ideal solution for industrial heating and energy requirements, providing heat, steam, electricity and hot water. These systems have exemplary high efficiency with a range of outputs and provide up to 16MW in power.

For industrial and large heating applications our Kohlbach and Herz systems are the ideal solution. In recent years we have seen a significant rise in fossil fuel costs and this is set to continue. The Kohlbach systems can provide low temperature hot water (LTHW), medium temperature hot water (MTHW), saturated steam, thermal oil and superheated steam specifically designed for applications that use high heat loads and for companies wanting to invest in CHP. We can offer CHP solutions based on superheated steam or thermal oil ORC. The Herz systems can provide more than 1MW in heating in combination and are extremely flexible too.
