Much of our work is carried out within the construction industry supply chain. Our first involvement with a project is often at the planning stages of a project where we advise the client, architect and their consultant team on the potential for heat pump technology. This can include:
- Desk studies on ground conditions to establish site suitability
- Budgetary prices
- CO2 savings calculations
- Renewable Heat Incentive payback calculations and finance options
Once the decision to use heat pumps has been made we work closely with the engineering consultants to specify the detailed design for tender purposes. This can include:
- Analysis of ground conditions and thermal modelling desk studies
- Test boreholes and thermal response testing
- Production of CAD drawings
- Drawing up of complete specifications for tender
At the contracting stage we aim to provide competitive and clear pricing based on the specification and are often able to offer alternative proposals to reduce costs if required. Our systems and procedures are set up to deal with the requirements of the construction industry. We have CHAS certification, are Construction line registered and, of course, have full MCS accreditation.
