How does it connect to the grid?
A solar PV system above 11.5 kW in size, connected with a 3-Phase supply and a system above 3.8 kW connected by a single phase will need permission from the District Network Operator (DNO) to connect to the grid. We will make the necessary application to the DNO for your proposed site as part of our service.
If the permission is declined, they may suggest you install a smaller system or have works done on the local grid to support a larger installation. The DNO will provide a quotation for the works, which you will then need to pay before continuing with the installation.
