Planning permission is no-longer required to install solar PV or solar thermal on domestic and non-domestic buildings, this includes ground mounted systems up to 9m2.  However, in certain circumstances a planning application may still be necessary and permission required.

Myriad’s Consultancy team of RTPI qualified planners and trained engineers will review the information gathered during the site survey to establish whether planning permission is required for your installation.  This may involve pre-application discussions with the Local Planning Authority.  If planning permission is required Myriad’s Consultancy team are experts at securing permission for solar PV systems and can handle this part of the project on your behalf.
