Financial Incentives
The Government have introduced financial incentives for Renewable Power called the Feed-in Tariff (FiT). The scheme guarantees a minimum payment for 20 years which is index-linked and tax free for individuals.
To qualify for FiTs the wind turbine must be a Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approved turbine and be installed by a MCS approved installer.
