Our project installation service has been developed through customer demand for a service which will guide them simply and quickly from project concept to turbine installation. Wind turbine projects can be complex but Myriad Wind will use their experience to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible.
For small wind projects a desktop study is followed by the feasibility stage consisting of a site survey and report. This assesses the site and gathers all the information needed to produce a planning application and quotation and to install the machine.
A medium wind project is more complex at every level. The feasibility study needs to identify and quantify the issues with regards to performance, siting, planning, grid connection and installation. Each of these can have numerous individual parts to it, which is where Myriad Wind's experience comes into play. Once this has been completed a planning application can be made consisting of a number of studies such as noise, ecology or archaeology together with a detailed design and access statement and visual impact assessment.
Grid connection can be almost as complex as planning and can take just as long. Our engineering team will manage the process to deliver the best value solution, working closely with experts in the field. Once these permissions are obtained then the detail design including grid integration, access and installation logistics can be completed. The delivery and installation and commissioning process is then managed by our dedicated project management team.
