This tool allows you to enter details about your proposed wind turbine installation and will estimate your annual energy production, expected revenue and system cost using average UK wind speed calculations.
The amount of energy your system will generate is dependent upon the size of the turbine and the average wind speed of your proposed site.
Please read our FAQs for assistance on obtaining the information required to complete the form or contact us if you need help in using the wind speed checker.

Selling Your Electricity
The Government announced in July 2009 the details of the proposed feed-in tariff for Microgeneration systems from April 2010. The consultation for this ended on the 15th October 2009 and the Government has now announced the final proposals:

In summary the feed-in tariff (FIT) is expected to provide all qualifying generators of renewable energy with a higher rate of income from all their generated power than they currently receive, making renewable energy systems significantly more economical. The rate of income will be determined by the size of the system and the current proposals are as detailed below :
| Size | Rate / kWh | Myriad Systems |
| 0-15kW | 26.7p | 1 X Gaia 133 |
| 15kW - 100kW | 24.1p | 2 - 9 X Gaia 133 or 1 x Northern Power 100 or 1 X WES 18 |
| 100kW - 500kW | 18.8p | 1 - 5 x Northern Power 100 or 2 - 6 X WES 18 or 1 - 2 X WES 30 |
| 500kW - 1,500kW | 9.4p | 5 - 15 x Northern Power 100 or 2 - 6 X WES 30 |
| 1,500kW - 5,000kW | 4p |
